Power

Somewhere in the Canastra Mountains (Serra da Canastra), a range of mountains in the Minas Gerais state of southwestern Brazil. The headwaters of the São Francisco River begin at this range and it is the location of the Serra da Canastra National Park and the Casca d’Anta waterfall, at an incredible 614 ft (186 meters) high. We just spent a few days away from TV, Cell Phones, Computers, and the ‘stuff’ of this modern life, in the Bunya Mountains National Park, Queensland, Australia.
‘We’ were my family – 10 – children and grandchildren with girlfriend, spent time together in a mountain chalet playing games, hiking, photographing, singing, and being generally silly…a great time.
This is one of many pics I took which I have elected to upload to illustrate the beauty of this rain-forest region.
