Nature’s Fractals

A super macro (near micro) shot of water drops on a reflective surface.
No editing other than touching up was made, these colors are as real as they get. The water was uniquely diffracting the light.

As of yet I haven’t seen anything like this on the net.
Reminded me of computer generated fractal sets.

Setup was cloudy sunlight and a macro extended 40mm 2.8g with a pre-ai 2x teleconverter

I recently rented a macro lens because I’ve never used one before. Shooting with such a shallow depth of field is a lot more challenging than I thought, but fun nevertheless haha!
Took this shot early in the morning, minutes after sunrise.
