Computer games have been a good resource for enjoyment, excitement and engagement. The trend has been changed a lot since the first personal computer and its game. Now we have games in almost every other device we use, smartphones, tablets, iPhone, iPod, iPad, personal computers, gaming consoles, and even in web browsers. Social media as introduced another type of games which are very popular among users and are played within web browsers. These games are built around mostly on web development languages. One of these languages is HTML5. HTML5 game development has grown quite wide in the last couple of years, in this presentation we will overview how it has started and how it has developed into a huge phenomena.
