Red Dragonfly

This handsome fellow used to visit me every day in my old garden. He would flutter about and land near me wherever I went in the front or back garden. I enjoyed his company, and loved looking at him.

I snapped a lot of photos of this red dragonfly (damselfly), but lost most of them when a computer was stolen. Bummer.

Quartz Globe Light Painting

This photo was taken through a smelted quartz globe. I focused on the globe and stood on the other side with a remote to take the photo at a very long exposure, during which I used glow sticks to create a pattern inside the quartz globe, light painting. This is not photoshopped nor created with a computer in any way, other than post processing the photo itself.
